Booking is exclusive to respectable campers.

It is deemed that anyone who books and pays for a stay at Wowo Campsite- either for themselves or on behalf of others – has read and is in agreement with the following terms and conditions.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Refund Policy

  • 30 days notice or longer – 90% refunded

  • 29 days notice – 50% refunded

  • 14 days or less notice – No refund

No refunds or date changes outside of this policy. This includes but not exclusive to personal injury, illness, or adverse weather.

BOOKING TERMS

  • A booking requires payment in full to secure your pitch.

  •  Booking is exclusive to respectable campers. By respectable we mean the ability to respect your fellow campers and your environment. No anti- social behaviour including offensive language. We reserve the right of admission.

  • We will send you a booking confirmation via email. Please contact us if you do not receive this. Please check your Booking Confirmation and notify us of any errors immediately. 

  • In making this booking you are accepting full responsibility for yourself, your booking party, your children and you are agreeing to abide by our Terms and Conditions, which can also be viewed in full on our website.

  • Once we have issued you with a confirmation, we will do our best not to make any changes or cancel your booking. However please note that sometimes changes do occur before or after bookings have been confirmed, and very occasionally confirmed bookings have to be changed or cancelled. We promise to do all we can to avoid changes and cancellations but must reserve the right to do so.

  • When booking at Wowo, you are either selecting a specific glamping option pitch or a camping pitch. Camping pitches are assigned on check in day in accordance with the camp plan, you do not pre book a pitch in a certain field. 

  • We will do our very best to accommodate accessibility needs for our guests. Due to the nature of camping we may not be able to facilitate all needs. 

  • If booking a workshop, you are also agreeing to the workshop providers terms and conditions.

  • We do not accept unsupervised youths below the age of 21 or all adult groups. We also do not allow Stag and Hen parties or weddings/ receptions. 

  • If a booking has been asked to not return to Wowo then this also applies to bookings associated with them in future seasons. 

  • Wowo reserves the right to change this website including, prices, and terms and conditions without notice.

  • From time to time, photographers will be at the campsite to take pictures, video and film for promotional use. Should you not wish to appear in any publicity material please make this known to the photographer at the time.

  • We ask for you and your guests to cooperate with our wardens. Please assist us by listening and adhering to the warden’s instructions. It is a condition of your booking that you agree to follow the directions of our wardens and staff.

CAMPSITE CULTURE

  • In our experience lack of respect for fellow campers is almost always associated with the mismanagement of alcohol. If heavy consumption is a part of your camping ideal – please do not book at Wowo. 

  •  We welcome and honour unplugged or acoustic musicians round the campfire. All instruments and noise to stop by 11pm latest. No bongos or drums. No Car stereos / stereos or radio’s. Strictly no open air, plugged in amplified music. We reserve the right to confiscate any music devices and return them to you the morning of your check out. 

  • 10.30pm onwards all children/youths to be back at their pitch and supervised by a responsible adult. 

  • We have extensive areas on the farm specified for dog walking. In all other areas dogs
    must be kept on leads. Each dog needs to be able to meet reception staff and be seen to be friendly. We reserve the right to ask your dog to leave if it shows anti-social behaviour.

  • Logs can be bought from reception or the ‘log person’ please do not take wood from the woodland or surrounding land of the campsite, we are all stewards of the earth’s ecosystem. Wheelbarrows are provided for moving firewood and belongings, all guests use these at their own risk.

  • We ask that bushcraft knives and steel and strikers are used within your pitch area and supervised by a responsible adult. We reserve the right to confiscate any knife or tool that we deem is being used in an inappropriate or dangerous manner.

  • Please note, we do not allow fireworks, flares, water bombs/balloons, Chinese paper lanterns, birthday balloons and please don’t blow bubbles in the camping areas (it affects the waterproofing of tents).

  • We do not allow the use of drones or other similar equipment without prior authorisation from a Wowo manager. 

  • Please refrain from smoking/vapping in any of the communal areas at the campsite and be mindful of smoking at your pitch if it has an impact on your neighbour. All rubbish associated with smoking/vapping should  be disposed of safely. 

  • Love the farm – leave no trace. Please take all rubbish to the landfill bin and recycle where possible. Please take all bulky waste home with you and leave nothing on your pitch. Keep on our land, there is no access to our neighbours land.

WELFARE

  • Driving is restricted on site to 5mph at all times. Drivers should proceed with extreme caution at all times. There is no driving after dark. There is no driving around the site other than dropping off and on booked checkout day to collect.

  • No driving on site on a Saturday (and Sunday for Bank Holidays weekends). Late arrivals can use a wheelbarrow to take their belongings to your pitch. Tipi Trail parking is for glamping and Frank’s Spot drop off only. 

  • Campers and glampers are responsible for providing their own first aid. We do not hold a first aid box. 

  • Wowo accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to possessions, vehicles or any personal injury sustained while staying here, playing in the natural playground, the stream, the tree swings, the football posts or using campfires and campsite furniture, all guests use these at their own risk. 

  • Guest camping and glamping in all areas of the campsite do so at their own risk, including in all weathers and in the woodland, with no refund due in adverse weather. 

  • Due to the extensive nature of the campsite, and the ambience of the area, we do not provide artificial lighting. To ensure your safety you should bring a torch to help you when walking after dark and using some of the field toilets. 

  • Campfires: We allow campfires and they remain the responsibility of guests at all times. Only use the fire areas provided, pitch your tent at least 2 meters. Do not collect any wood yourselves from our woodlands. Please don’t leave a burning fire unattended and fires should be extinguished after use, ashes and embers might still be hot in the morning. While having a campfire a water source should be kept close at all times.
