Hobbit Yurt is our smallest and cosiest at 4.2 meters. Inside is a double bed and two single fold out futon mattresses, which double as low seats. This makes this yurt a cosy home for a family of four with younger children, or a perfect nest for two. It\u2019s felt-lined canvas in combination with a gorgeous glass fronted wood burning stove make this a toasty option even on the coldest of winter nights! In the summer however, you can wile away the evenings outside around the fire, listening to the brook as it burbles its way past, looking out across an open moonlit field.<\/p>

The Hobbit Yurt comes equipped with a two ring gas burner and all the pots\/pans\/crockery\/glasses you will need. All you have to bring is food and drink. The main double bed is fully made with bed linen, quilt and pillows. The single futon mattresses have sheets only, ready for sleeping bags and pillows of your own. We have limited Hobbit to a max of 3 adults or 2 adults 2 kids as the 14ft means less floor space for the single futons.<\/p>

Just outside there is a huge picnic table, a fire pit and a metal grill trivet for outdoor cooking fun, then cosy-up on the benches near the brook to gaze across the empty field which by day, makes a perfect field to play. Hobbit yurt door is 60cm wide. Not suitable as accessible yurt stay. Both Little Owl<\/a> and Woodland Yurt<\/a> have a double door that is accessible for guests who use a wheelchair.<\/p>

Check in time is 2pm and check out time in 11am.<\/strong><\/p>

Spacious big fields with fire pits and huge picnic tables, perfectly clean facilities with hot showers and washing up bowls, friendly staff and a great shop for supplies. It also walking distance to a National Trust site, steam railway (that you can hear from the campsite) and plenty of good pubs for lunch.
