Stepping Stones is Wowo\u2019s first Shepherds hut, based on the 19th Century original design. This super cosy retreat is equally ideal for a romantic getaway (beware in summer months when campsite has a high density of children!) or for a short stay with younger children. Insulated with wool and fitted with a wood burner this is a perfect all season option as the nights draw in and we welcome a little crackling fire warmth.<\/p>

Stepping Stones hut sleeps two adults and two little ones! The childrens’ beds are a nifty rearrangement of the booth style seating converting into two 4ft ish beds(129cm) but you can also pitch a tent outside for kids that are older and larger! The double bed is a pull down futon bed which you can flip away during the day to reveal your kitchen table and booth-style seating. The main double bed is fully made-up with linen,quilt and pillows.<\/p>

The small singles mattresses have sheets only, ready for sleeping bags and pillows of your own. Wowo warning: Due to the nature of the Shepherds hut, the double bed is on the snug side in length and not really suited to a couple sharing with someone over 5ft 8″. A tall person could stay there alone quite successfully, making full use of the diagonal possibilities!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The kitchen area is equipped with a two ring gas burner and all the pots\/pans\/crockery\/glasses you will need. All you have to bring is food and drink! For help with that, have a look at what’s available in our licenced campsite shop<\/a> where you can find some home grown goodies and lots of local produce.<\/p>

Enjoy the outdoors with a fire- pit surrounded by benches, a huge picnic table and a metal grill trivet for cooking-up a culinary campfire treat.<\/p>

Situated in our woodland strip the Tipi Trail<\/a>\u00a0you will hear the Owls at night and numerous bird songs to wake you in the morning. Not forgetting the children playing near by stream on the stepping stones!<\/p>
