ENTERTAINMENT AT WOWO

SPOILT FOR CHOICE WITH ENTERTAINMENT AT WOWO

Wowo is no ordinary campsite. In the early days of opening in 2005, the campsite held social events at it’s core and strived to bring our campers together in various ways. Saturday night community soup, musicians camping for free in exchange for playing for our campers and running workshops such as bushcraft and foraging. Being one of the founding campsites in the South East we feel we trail blazed this industry and we continue to put energy into making your stay worth every penny while you’re here.

We want you to make lasting friendships with other like minded folks while you’re here, we want your children to enjoy the open fields, woodlands and streams safely but with an adventurous spirit. We want to hear you sing, see you dance and hear about your lasting memories you make with us.

We’d LOVE to hear your reviews about our entertainment and the fun you had at Wowo.

Leave us a review.

STORYTELLING, GAMES AND CABARET WITH AFA FOOL HEART

What To Expect

This workshop welcomes people of all ages. We will open with a brief sharing about clowning and fooling and then the group will be led through games and exercises to bring out our playful sides and start developing some of the key tools of the clown and the fool. We will follow our curiosity and see what we discover! Over the workshop there will be opportunities to be part of smaller groups and even develop something to share either with a group or as a solo. This could be something poetic, a clown show or even a song or piece of art. We will then close by having a  cabaret where people who wish to can share a performance with us. Expect much silliness!

About Afa:

Afa is a multidisciplinary artist who is trained in a variety of modalities spanning from clowning and music to visual arts, poetry and film making. Her formal training includes The National Youth Theatre, Goldsmiths Theatre and Performance as well as a masters in Transpersonal Arts. Afa has been practicing clowning for over a decade, developing shows and teaching across the U.K and volunteering with the Flying Seagulls Circus, a humanitarian clowning troupe.  At the core of her practice is the fools philosophy of play and freedom through curiosity.  Afa believes in the magic of each and every person and her workshops bring people together through silliness and open a portal into surreal serendipity and joy.
