ENTERTAINMENT AT WOWO
SPOILT FOR CHOICE WITH ENTERTAINMENT AT WOWO
Wowo is no ordinary campsite. In the early days of opening in 2005, the campsite held social events at it’s core and strived to bring our campers together in various ways. Saturday night community soup, musicians camping for free in exchange for playing for our campers and running workshops such as bushcraft and foraging. Being one of the founding campsites in the South East we feel we trail blazed this industry and we continue to put energy into making your stay worth every penny while you’re here.
We want you to make lasting friendships with other like minded folks while you’re here, we want your children to enjoy the open fields, woodlands and streams safely but with an adventurous spirit. We want to hear you sing, see you dance and hear about your lasting memories you make with us.
We’d LOVE to hear your reviews about our entertainment and the fun you had at Wowo.
The entertainment has changed from the early days and we now offer free scheduled music and entertainment for our campers every Saturday night as well as mid-week during May half term and summer school holidays.
You can view all of the workshops, food vans, music and entertainment on our calendar.
Check out what’s happening on the dates you have booked to come camping OR plan your stay according to what’s on.
Workshops such as circus skills, bushcraft, art, fairy adventures, potion classes or forest school are scheduled for every peak season date over the camping season.
We have the Wild Spa onsite too. Indulge in a sauna, steam room, cold plunge or massage. They are hosting a new bi-weekly women’s only sauna on a Thursday and offer yoga classes on Sundays and mid-week in school holidays and various sauna treatments as well.

STORYTELLING, GAMES AND CABARET WITH AFA FOOL HEART
This workshop welcomes people of all ages. We will open with a brief sharing about clowning and fooling and then the group will be led through games and exercises to bring out our playful sides and start developing some of the key tools of the clown and the fool. We will follow our curiosity and see what we discover! Over the workshop there will be opportunities to be part of smaller groups and even develop something to share either with a group or as a solo. This could be something poetic, a clown show or even a song or piece of art. We will then close by having a cabaret where people who wish to can share a performance with us. Expect much silliness!
